Bauchi chief judge launches small claims court

The Bauchi state Chief Judge, Justice Rabi Talatu Umar, on Friday launched and unveiled a small claims’ court and the small-claims-court-practice direction number 2 of 2022.

The small claims court, which is promoted by the Presidential Enabling Environment Court, is a simplified judicial process to ensure speedy dispensation of simple debts and liquidated money demand for cases.

Bauchi redeploys 404 judiciary workers to MDAs

The Chief Registrar of Bauchi State High Court, Emmanuel Sublim, has said the state government has approved the redeployment of 404 non-judicial trained workers to various ministries.

While addressing newsmen in his office, yesterday, Sublim said that Governor Bala Mohammed approved the deployment of 404 staff of the Bauchi State High Court of Justice to other Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs).
